UK watchdog probes Unilever on ‘greenwashing’
Britain’s competition and markets watchdog on Tuesday said it would probe claims made by consumer-goods giant Unilever regarding the environmental friendliness of products.
“The Competition and Markets Authority will be scrutinising environmental claims made by the consumer goods group Unilever,” a statement said amid concerns that companies overstate how ‘green’ they are, known as ‘greenwashing’.
The CMA added that its move forms part of the watchdog’s “wider investigation into greenwashing and follows concerns around how Unilever is marketing certain products, within some brands, to customers as environmentally friendly”.
Unilever, which manufactures a significant number of products including Magnum ice cream, Cif surface cleaner and Dove soap, said it was “surprised and disappointed” by the news.
The British multinational added in a statement that it “is committed to making responsible claims about the benefits of our products on our packs and to these being transparent and clear”.
CMA chief executive Sarah Cardell said the watchdog would "be drilling down into these claims to see if they measure up.
“If we find they’re greenwashing, we’ll take action to make sure shoppers are protected.”

Unilever PLC (NYSE:UL) disclosed a binding offer to sell Elida Beauty Business to Yellow Wood Partners LLC for an undisclosed amount.
Elida Beauty comprises over 20 beauty and personal care brands, such as Q-Tips, Caress, Timotei, and Tigi, and generated around E0.8 billion in revenues in 2022.

Fabian Garcia, President of Unilever Personal Care, stated, “This marks another step towards the optimisation of our Personal Care portfolio. Our priority is to step up the growth of our Power Brands by investing behind key strategic focus areas such as driving unmissable brand superiority and scaling multi-year innovations.”
The divestiture is projected to be completed by mid-2024, subject to the usual closing conditions, regulatory requirements, and consultation processes.
Price Action: UL shares are trading higher by 0.34% at $47.53 premarket on the last check Monday.

No sé cuándo lo publicaron, pero ya tenemos el calendario de fechas de pago de dividendos del año que viene (la cuantía no). Aunque en la previsualización del enlace ponga 2021 dentro está el calendario de los dividendos del cuarto trimestre de 2023 al tercero de 2024:

Hola a todos,
tengo acciones de Unilever en myInvestor y todavía no me han pagado el dividendo correspondiente al 15/11/2023.
Para este dividendo solicité el cobro en acciones de la empresa a través de Inversis, pero ni lo he cobrado en efectivo ni tampoco en acciones. ¿Cuánto suele tardar esta operación?
Tengo exactamente el mismo problema con Main Street Capital, también en myInvestor y también solicité el cobro en acciones, pero no he recibido nada 
Estoy pensando si es porque el dividendo que me pagan, no da para comprar 1 acción completa. ¿Es posible que sea por eso?

Yo antes también pedía dividendo en acciones y la verdad es que tardaba un poco en llegarte.
El problema que yo le veía es que como en las empresas británicas este dividendo es un DRIP y no un script como suele ser en España, al hacer la declaración de Hacienda me resultaba mucho más incómodo, ya que tenía que contemplar cobro del dividendo con sus retenciones y luego posterior comprar automática de las acciones que me daban. Además muchas veces el informe fiscal que el broker manda a Hacienda no está bien y lo tienen que corregir con las molestias que ello conlleva.
Ahora siempre pido metálico y ya veo yo en qué reinvierto.

A ver si en junio nos dan una alegría… Solo han declarado el de marzo, no? Aunque no hay muchos motivos para ser optimistas con el historial que llevan la verdad.
