Según la agencia, en el mercado OTC esta semana han habido inversores institucionales que estaban pagando una prima del 50% del precio fijado para la salida del jueves, en un mercado gris que permite que los inversores hagan ofertas por los títulos de la firma antes de que empiecen a cotizar oficialmente.

me refiero a que AirBnB tiene medio mundo confinado y aun así siguen hacia adelante con la salida a bolsa.
Eso es seguro pero también que en 2021, tarde o temprano, habrá una vacuna (o más nos vale porque si no estamos arreglados) y estos negocios volverán a repuntar con fuerza (el género humano somos de memoria corta, me río yo de los que creen que la gente y sobretodo los políticos verán el mundo de otro modo después de esta pandemia).
Además plataformas de economía colaborativa como Airbnb tienen 2 ventajas claras: ofrecen mejores precios que los hoteles (con costes mucho menores de mantenimiento de infraestructuras para ellas) y dan la posibilidad a propietarios de pisos de sacar un rendimiento a estos mayor que el del alquiler tradicional (cosa que muchos pueden agradecer una vez se “normalice” la situación).
Para mi el principal problema que enfrentarán en el futuro son las regulaciones restrictivas que muchas ciudades ya están tomando y que otras seguramente también tomarán.
A ver como acaba la cosa. Por de pronto tendré que cancelar mi orden de compra y esperar a ver como evoluciona.

Yo uso Activotrade que usa la plataforma de IB, así que será lo mismo.
Habitualmente unos días antes de la salida a bolsa buscas el ticker como cualquier otra y la tienes disponible para poner la orden.
De hecho yo puse una orden para Ant y luego cancelaron la salida a bolsa y la orden sigue ahí.

Airbnb no ha dado beneficios nunca… Es un dato como mínimo curioso. Aunque no se como de util será viendo el caso de Tesla donde, si mal no recuerdo, se tiro unos cuantos años sin beneficio alguno.
Doordash más de lo mismo. No ha dado beneficios todavía.

Entiendo que en las IPOs se invierte en el potencial de una empresa todavía no consolidada en el mercado y que se encuentra en crecimiento (aunque a veces no sea así). Pero está claro que se asume bastante riesgo. El exxxxcitante mundo de las IPOs
