Eso lo tengo claro pero mi criterio es en qué moneda cobro los dividendos, independientemente de donde salen las ganancias.
Si quiero euros compro en Holanda y si son libras pues en Reino Unido. Los riesgos son los mismos pero la moneda en la que cobro no y eso es lo que me importa de momento.
Por eso las compre en Holanda, por cobrar en €, a pesar del 15 % de retencion.

Estaba estudiando un poco sobre Shell. Puede que abra una pequeña posición en cartera, pero me surgen varias dudas. Veo que sois muchos los foreros que las lleváis en cartera, que su RPD es espectacular, y el precio al que cotiza es atractivo. Aparte de si las de clase A o B, que yo creo que un tema secundario, o de recibir acciones o efectivo, lo que me estoy planteando es si este dividendo es sostenible o no. ¿qué os parece?
Al final abrí pequeña posición hace dos días. Aunque las petroleras-gasistas son discutibles a 30 años vista, creo que pueden diversificar la cartera y son interesantes. Bien es cierto que son cíclicas y habrá que vigilarlas un poco más que otras.

Por lo que veo el 26/03/2018 se pagará un dividendo (Q4 2017) de 0.47$ y las equivalencias a euros/libras se anunciarán el 09/03/2018. Generalmente actualizan ese fichero con los nuevos datos rápidamente
Raro, raro, raro … como no sea que estén ofreciendo un DRIP (“… or in shares at a reinvestment price which will be announced”)
Si te digo la verdad como siempre elijo efectivo leo todos estos mensajes en diagonal
Interactive Brokers también parece haberse sumado a la moda de los DRIPs. Era un servicio que no se ofrecía hasta hace bien poco a los que somos clientes de su filial de UK. Ahora tienes la posibilidad de habilitarlo para todos los valores americanos (no sé permite especificar en cuales sí y en cuales no) y de manera individual para algún valor europeo como RDSA.

Incremento de los beneficios hasta junio de 2018 del 135%
La petrolera Royal Dutch Shell obtuvo en 2018 un beneficio atribuido de 23.352 millones de dólares (20.292 millones de euros), un alza del 80 % frente al año anterior, tras completar un programa de desinversión y ayudada por un repunte de los precios del crudo el año pasado. Además, indicó que ha puesto en marcha el próximo tramo del programa de recompra de acciones, estimadas en 2.500 millones de dólares (2.172 millones de euros). La empresa informó de que el consejo de Shell ha decidido pagar un dividendo correspondiente al cuarto trimestre de 2018 de 0,47 centavos de dólar (0,40 céntimos) por acción ordinaria, que serán abonadas en euros, si bien los que tienen estos títulos podrán recibirlos en libras esterlinas.
Pues ya va siendo hora de que aumenten el dividendo porque llevamos con los 0.47$ trimestrales desde el 2014
